If Your Household Income Is a Certain Amount
You can get the Emergency Broadband Benefit if your income is 135% or less than the federal poverty guidelines. The guideline is based on your household size and state.
You will have to show proof of income, like pay stubs or a tax return, when you apply for the EBB Program.
If You Experienced a Job Loss or Furlough
If you experienced a substantial loss of income since February 29, 2020 because you lost your job or were furloughed, you may qualify for the EBB Program.

Greenwich’s Lynch Named Times Union Small School Defensive Athlete Of The Year
By
Mark Fish
May 24, 2021
Athlete of the Year: Bryce Lynch, Greenwich
Seeing a 6-foot-5, 310-pound lineman take the field is only going to foster a reaction. Bryce Lynch displayed throughout the abbreviated season, he was not merely a large body as his play commanded immediate attention when a game began. In the Witches’ season opener against Voorheesville, Lynch spent the afternoon blowing up plays, making tackles for losses and harassing anyone that came in his path.
“I was excited to be out on the field. I waited so long,” Lynch said.
“If you want to run a successful defense, one guy has to demand a double team every play. He did that and it allowed everyone else to do their job,” Greenwich coach Brandon Linnett said. “A lot of times, he would break up that double team himself and make the play. Bryce was a huge asset to our successful defense.”
“I deal with my responsibility first. I take care with what I have to do and it allows our linebackers to make plays,” Lynch said. “They can’t make plays unless we take our jobs seriously.”
Headed to play next at Morrisville where he will major in criminal justice, Lynch started on both the offensive and defensive lines. Although he proved excellent on both sides of the ball, Lynch prefers playing defense.
“I like defensive line more. There is more freedom,” Lynch said. “I have to take care of my guy. If I do that, I can go get the ball. Defense is definitely more fun.”
“He is super-athletic and has good feet,” Linnett said. “Bryce is really quick off the ball for his size.”
Exceptionally nimble, Lynch stunned opponents his ability to move around.
“I think a perfect example of his versatility came against Stillwater,” Linnett said. “They were crushing down on our defensive ends, so we moved him out to D-end and they couldn’t do that anymore. He was quick enough to break the double-team down.”
Greenwich breezed to a 5-0 record in Class D, a season altered enough by the coronavirus pandemich that was no Class D final conducted. Clearly, the Witches were the best team in the classification as they outscored their opponents 168-31.

National Nurses Week
By dsmith
May 6, 2021
We would like to celebrate the start of Nurses Week by shining a spotlight on the incredible nurses we have here at the Greenwich Central School District. This year has been unlike any other. As a community, we have asked more of our nurses than we ever have by asking them to assist in the fight against the COVID 19 Pandemic. While one day is not nearly enough, we want to take this time to share our gratitude for the work they do every day, in times of the pandemic, and always.
Celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week
