Saratoga Hospital Child and Family Health Plus School News

Dear School Administrator/Health Coordinator:

For a great school year, every child in New York State should have health insurance!

Saratoga Hospital Child and Family Health Plus:

  • Offers FREE screening and enrollment services to all families in Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Saratoga and Washington counties;

  • Can come to your school to address administration, teacher, staff and parent groups on the topic of public health insurance;

  • Will meet families one-on-one at a time and location that is convenient to the families to screen or enroll them in public health insurance.

If you consider this to be a service families in your school district could utilize, please call 518-580-2021 to speak to one of our enrollers.

In the meantime, would you kindly help us by:

  • Posting the attached flyer in your school building(s);

  • Sending the flyer home with your students;

  • Distributing the flyer at administrative, teacher, staff and parent meetings;

  • Completing and faxing the attached referral for any child/family needing health insurance.

Do you need help putting nutritious food on your table? Do you want to know If you may be eligible for free / reduced school meal?? Contact your local NOEP Coordinator for a free, confidential prescreening for SNAP benefits recertification. Your NOEP can also assist you with free/reduced school meal applications.
