Working with partners, Mr. Molloy's fourth-grade class used various materials to create and test 'cup telephones.' They tested for clarity and volume to determine how well their phone worked. They recorded their observations after completing two trials in which they could change one variable, either the type of cup or the type of string or wire to determine if this created a better telephone.
