Eagle scout picture

Over the past year Seniors Brian Wells Jr & Reece Saunders of Boy Scout Troop 127 were honored on Sunday, October 23, 2022 & March 19, 2023 with separate Court of Honor Eagle Scout Ceremony's surround by scouts, family and friends.  

Brian J & Reece collaborated and completed 6 primitive campsites (3 each) at Christ the King Center to satisfy their Eagle Projects with the support of the Troop and their parents Kevin & Gloria Saunders and Brian & Bonnie Wells. Brian J & Reece have been in scouting for over 17+ years.  Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in Scouting. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges while demonstrating Scout Spirit, an ideal attitude based upon the Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the accomplishments of the Scout.
 
Brian J plans to attend Gordan College in Massachusetts in the fall while Reece plans to enroll in the United States Air Force while both are continuing on as a Scout Reserves helping out Troop 127.
