Greenwich Central School District is pleased to announce that it has selected Brionna Whitman as its new Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Whitman will begin on July 1, 2023.

Whitman is currently the Director of Special Education for the Hoosic Valley Central
School District, where she has served since 2021. She began her career as a school
psychologist at Schenectady City School District’s Mont Pleasant Middle School and
then Saratoga Springs City School District’s Maple Avenue Middle School. Her role and
responsibilities grew at Saratoga Springs CSD to include elementary Coordinator of
Special Education and elementary Committee on Special Education Chairperson.

Whitman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the State University
of New York at Oneonta and a Master of Science degree in educational psychology and
methodology from the University at Albany. She holds a certificate of advanced study in
school psychology, and she completed the School Building and School District
Leadership program through the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

“Ms. Whitman’s ability to collaborate with educational teams for student success and
her understanding of a multi-tiered system of support make her an ideal fit for
Greenwich Central School District,” said Greenwich Central School District
Superintendent Jennifer Steimle, Ed.D. “The hiring committee was impressed with her
enthusiasm and experience, and we are excited for her to join our team.”

in Greenwich CSD,” said Ms. Whitman.

Greenwich Central School District comprises the Towns of Greenwich and Easton and
