At long last, a name for the trails has been chosen by the sixth grade students! After much brainstorming, the students selected two possibilities - The Witches Way and Whipple City Woods.
The students were asked to vote for their favorite name, and though it was close, chose Whipple City Woods. Whipple City Woods gets its name from the founder of Greenwich, Job Whipple.
A sign has been commissioned and will be a reminder of the legacy this sixth grade class has left for our community.
