Want to learn more about the trades and companies in our region? The Expertise Project is a new and exciting platform helping to spread awareness about the career opportunities in the trades and to connect students with regional industries.
Expertise Project (a new resource in the HS to help with post secondary planning)
Expertise Project is a newly established platform for students and families to use to explore the trades (it is still a work in progress). However, it is especially exciting because it highlights the trades and companies in our area! We have been chosen as one of the first schools to utilize the platform in its beginning stages. The trades are becoming increasingly competitive with the college post-secondary track. Usually with less time and money put into training, students going into the trades can be making competitive salaries with minimal student debt. Finding a good match in the trades is as important as finding a good college match. There are great careers to be found in the trades...it is worth putting in some time to explore the options. The Expertise Project can help with this. We are using this in the high school, feel free to use it at home too.
